EXCURSION to visit Mediterranean Works on Soil and Water Bioengineering
15-18 June 2021
During four days of torrid heat in the best Mediterranean style, we have visited different works carried out in Catalonia and Valencia region with our members and in company of French friends from INRAE Grenoble and CNR Ingeniérie.
The existence of heavy droughts, torrential rains, and human pressure in the Mediterranean area means that the foresee a greater complexity in the use of these techniques.Climate change has accentuated the impact on these techniques. But despite all these difficulties, there are many interventions that are working well, some after many years.
In these trip we visited some of the interventions carried out in the Mediterranean area by members of AEIP.
Thanks to the collaboration of our partners Albert Sorolla and Bet Mota (Naturalea), Pere Sanz and Jaume Pacal (Talio) and Daniel Arizpe (CIEF) to organize this fantastic trip. We are waiting already for the next.
