Soil and Water Bioengineering in gullies and ravines
The practical workshop took place on May 10 and 11, 2023 in Ciudad Rodrigo.
The workshop consisted of the application of Soil an d Water Bioengineering techniques for the control of gullies and surface erosion in waste dumps to be restored.
The techniques chosen were :
- Transversal barriers on slopes
- Transversal barriers in gully with biorolls.
- Transversal barriers in a gully with vegetal material
- Preparation of the vegetal material, classificatio
- Construction of a trench
